Stuart Croft’s film Drive In (2007) will be screening in Tourism, a two part exhibition taking place this Spring at Kunsthaus Glarus and Stadtgalerie Bern, curated by Luca Beeler, Richard Sides and Judith Welter.
Tourism is a video-exhibition playing with the shift in temporality between the architectural and the filmic space. The technique of montage – via the use of the camera, computer generated images, audio and appropriated media, also as a curatorial approach of the exhibition – serves as a possible form for critically exploring conflicting ideas in the relationship between mental and physical space.
The show will feature artists Marie Angeletti, Stuart Croft, Tony Hill, Judith Hopf, Morag Keil, Nina Könnemann, Miriam Laura Leonardi, Jordan Lord, Asta Lynge, Stuart Middleton, Phung-Tien Phan, Josiane M.H. Pozi, Steve Reinke, Dani ReStack, Richard Sides, Terre Thaemlitz.
