Equal opportunities monitoring

The Stuart Croft Foundation is committed to encouraging diversity and inclusion to promote equal opportunity in the development and growth of artists’ moving image. Monitoring is recommended by the Equality & Human Rights Commission.

We monitor applications to our funding through Artquest’s Applied project, which was set up to better understand artists working conditions, motivations, and the barriers they face. The information provided is used anonymously for monitoring and statistical purposes only, and is shared with SCF and the Applied partners. It can only be used on a non-commercial basis. The monitoring information helps shape future Stuart Croft Foundation projects and policies, improve our application processes and more broadly informs other arts organisations to create better programmes and advocacy for artists.

For more information, please visit the Artquest website.

Selection process

The selection panel for each of the awards consists of external professional consultants and trustee members with expertise in artist’s film and visual arts curating.
Due to the volume of applications received, the trustees reserve the right to discard any application that does not adhere to the award application criteria and format.
